Rob LaFranco
A managing editor for Forbes running consumer coverage, Rob oversees a team of staff journalists and contract contributors covering media, entertainment, retail, games, sports, consumer products, real estate and related industries.

Prior to returning to Forbes in July 2019 he was a founding editor of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, creating its London-based team covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa in January 2012. Established the index's online and social media strategy in 2013, assumed management of global operations in 2014. Named editor in June 2015, overseeing global wealth coverage from a team of reporters, editors and analysts in New York, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Singapore and Seoul.


Earlier work focused on coverage of media and entertainment with a specialty in franchise projects, including the Forbes 400, Top 40 and Celebrity 100, the Rolling Stone Rich List, and the Premiere Power List.
