From Summer Stage in Central Park to SOB's and Lincoln Center, multi-talented Cuban musician, radio host, and Latin Jazz USA lifetime achievement awardee CHICO ALVAREZ will grace the stage along with his hard-driving Latin dance band; RAN KAN KÁN! Chico performs as a singer throughout the New York and tri-state area; and has directed several bands including his 17-piece orchestra, PALOMONTE. He was also the radio host of the New World Gallery, which successfully aired for 31 years on Saturday afternoons over WBAI Pacifica Radio (99.5 FM).
