Tempestry Workshop

Please join us for a mini-Tempestry Workshop with Emily McNeil and Asy Connelly, co-founders of The Tempestry Project. All ages welcome, though young children will benefit from adult guidance. The Tempestry Project uses colorful, tactile, hands-on yarn-crafting to spark conversations about the environment, climate change, and global, local, and personal histories. Participants will go home with a completed mini-Tempestry, similar to the ones on display in the PHM's temporary exhibition of the Cold Spring Tempestry Collection. Participants are welcome to simply stop by for the activity or stay awhile, look at other Tempestries, and talk yarn, craftivism, climate, weather and more with Emily and Asy.
