Yorktown Trail Town Committee Hike in Sylvan Glen Park

Join us for a guided 3.5 mile fundraising hike on easy rails through Sylvan Glen’s woodlands in Yorktown Heights, NY. This educational hike, with its roots in history, will include the abandoned Mohegan Granite Quarry, where you’ll discover echoes of Yorktown’s industrial past. An experienced guide, who is well versed in Yorktown’s rich history, will leave every 30 minutes between 8:30 and 10:00am. Click here to register and then join us at the start time of your convenience. Allow 2 hours for the round trip. This is an ideal family activity (suggested for ages 8+). It is recommended that you wear sturdy footwear. The hike is rain or shine. Chef Rob on Wheels’ food truck will be on site. Breakfast and/or lunch will be available for purchase.
